Making a Difference
for Young Adults

Discovering new skills leading towards independence.

Welcome to Skylark Plus

How do you find that spark?

How do you communicate with a young person today?

Through real life situations and new environments our vocational programmes draw young adults out of their shells and create opportunity to learn new skills. We aim to get young adults to a place where they feel confident, have increased resilience and greater self-esteem.

Our activities are varied; whether it’s motorcycle repairs, gardening, woodworking, or bushcraft, we hope to find something for every young adult to enjoy. These skills are taught through a series of workshops and training sessions to help young adults develop essential key life skills that could lead to a recognised qualification.

Our aim is to support the young adults to feel a part of their local community

To feel valued and have confidence to move into work placement, a voluntary position or a job where they can continue to learn and grow.
